Dem X-Books is back. Generation X, is, as expected, a whiner-fest and I’m down for that. Jean Grey is the most fun X-book this side of the early issues of All-New Wolverine. Weapon X has a way to go to push me past the first arc of this series. I’m still buying, but I’m on the edge. It’s a solid book, but everyone is broody and so “damaged” that it’s tiring. This book needs an uplifting… something.

I’m sort of excited for Rose #4. This book has been fun. Whimsical. I dig it. Godshaper, on the otherhand, has been serious. Goofy, but pretty dang serious. I really enjoy the world Spurrier has dropped us into and I have no idea where this book is going–in a very, very good idea.

Animosity is still pretty good, but I’m not really looking forward to the sequel series. I don’t need another series to go along with this one. One book works just fine for me.
