The Amory Wars is easily the book I’m looking forward to most this week (and yeah, I have a few others that are top notch too). This remake of the previous OGN (which was not great) has been fantastic so far. I’m way big on the Amory Wars story, so seeing this Coheed & Cambria album come to life is pure bliss.
Batman should be interesting to say the least. #25 got real weird for me, but I really trust Tom King, so I’m sticking with it. This story is really interesting and strange in that it grounds Batman a lot, but is also packed with a killer premise (in the event title).
All-New Wolverine had quite the ending last month, so I’m excited to see where the rest of this “cosmic parasite” story goes with the Guardians of the Galaxy getting involved. This book has a lot of team-ups, but one thing I have to say is that it is always to the benefit of the story and I really appreciate that.
I’m slogging through Rat Queens. I don’t know where it happened, but this book really lost its charm. It feels like a caricature of the original series and that’s insane because it’s still being written by Kurtis Weibe. Maybe I’m jaded. Who knows. I’m still seeing this story through to the end of the arc.
